In 1868, tin pan gold miners suddenly begin to disappear from their camp under strange circumstances. Isolated in the wilds of the Black Hills, these hard scrabble miners struggle to understand who or what might be stalking them. Is it the Sioux, punishing them for encroaching on their lands? Is it highway robbers, passing through via the Oregon Trail? Or is it something else entirely?
